APPC Membership

The Association of Professional Political Consultants is delighted to welcome into membership Nick Kemp Associates, PB Political Consulting The Public Affairs Company, TLG Communications and Westbourne Communications. The APPC now has a record 67 members.

Announcing the new members, APPC Chair, Helen Johnson, said:

“I am thrilled to welcome so many new members to the APPC at this critical time for the industry. Consultancies are repeatedly telling me how much they respect and value the APPC’s track record in building an ethos of transparency and ethical lobbying. Our register and our Code of Conduct have vital roles to play in underpinning this ethos and I am very pleased that consultancies voluntarily continue to demonstrate their commitment to openness and transparency by joining the APPC.”

James Bethell, Director of Westbourne Communications, said

“We’ve joined the APPC because I do believe that a modern communications industry should embrace transparency. We’re pleased to be part of the APPC’s drive to create trust and openness in the public affairs business.”

Paul Bristow, Director of PB Political Consulting, said

“PB Political Consulting are delighted to have joined the APPC. We strongly believe in ethical and transparent lobbying. Our clients expect nothing less. We are very proud of the relationships we have built with our clients and the services that we provide. We are looking forward to growing with the APPC and working with them to ensure that we and all public affairs consultancies live up to the highest standards."

Geoffrey Lawler, Director of The Public Affairs Company, said

"I am delighted that The Public Affairs Company has been accepted as a member of the APPC. Although we have always maintained high ethical standards and operated with a code of conduct incorporating the major points of the APPC's code for almost 20 years, we applaud the achievements of the APPC in helping to raise standards in the public affairs industry as a whole. Our membership will give our clients added confidence that we are following industry best practice."
