The Chair welcomed members to the meeting, particularly James Bethell of Westbourne Communications, which had recently joined APPC. She thanked Edelman for hosting the meeting.

 

The meeting received the Directors’ Report & Accounts.

 

The meeting noted the Management Committee’s proposal that subscription rates for the year to 30 September 2011 should remain as follows:

            1          20 or more consultants          1,917

            2          10 – 19 consultants                1,279

            3          5 – 9 consultants                     765

            4          1 – 4 consultants                     107 per consultant

Number of consultants would be those employed as at 31 May 2011.

 

The Chair reported that the forecast subscription income would cover regular APPC

expenditure in 2010-11 but that any other exceptional expenditure would have to be met

from cash reserves. The Management Committee therefore reserved the right to increase

rates if necessary.

 

No other nominations having been received, Helen Johnson was elected as Chair for the ensuing year.

 

No other nominations having been received, Gavin Devine was elected as Deputy Chair for the ensuing year.

The meeting noted that five nominations had been received for the eight places available and the following were therefore deemed elected:
