Tetra Strategy joins APPC

The Association of Professional Political Consultants is delighted to welcome into membership Tetra Strategy. The APPC now boasts 56 members, which brings membership to its highest level since records began in 1995.

Tetra Strategy was founded in October 2007 by James O’Keefe and Lee Petar. Tetra Strategyis a young agency, consisting of enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and experienced staff. Tetra Strategy is based on a set of guiding principles; the importance of achieving order, even where chaos appears to be all around and that well thought-out strategies and careful organisation can resolve many problems which may seem at first insurmountable.

Commenting on Tetra Strategy’s decision to apply for APPC membership, CEO James O’Keefe said:

“The APPC is one important way in which our industry demonstrates professionalism and openness, something which it is clear the current Parliamentary Inquiry also wishes to see. We agree with the Association’s principles, so it is natural for us to join.”

Commenting on the APPC’s record membership, APPC Chair, Gill Morris, said:

“This is good news, demonstrating that more and more consultancies recognise the value of our Code of Conduct and want to get on board.  It is increasingly important for the industry to demonstrate transparency and an ethical approach; the more members we get signed up, the stronger the industry will be in terms of raising its standards, reputation and public profile.

“The APPC will continue to recruit new members and has a number of applications in the pipeline – so I am increasingly confident of reaching my target of 60 members by the time I step down as APPC Chair at the AGM in May.”
