Professional Practices Panel reports on Morgan Allen Moore complaint
The Professional Practices Panel (PPP) has issued its report into the complaint made against Morgan Allen Moore.
The Report notes that the complainant had written to APPC on 5 August
"...withdrawing his allegations without reservation and formally requesting that they be struck from the record.
" The Panel notes that the APPC Rules do not provide for a complaint to be unilaterally withdrawn. However, the Panel has decided to dismiss the complaint, as no useful purpose would be served by insisting that it re-convene to determine the complaint...".

Morgan Allen Moore
The APPC Management Committee has issued the following statement:
Members of the Management Committee met on 5 February to further consider the complaint against Morgan Allen Moore.
The Management Committee agreed that there might be reason to conclude there was a cause for complaint and concluded that, for the issue to be addressed properly, and for further evidence to be sought, the matter should be referred to the APPC’s Professional Practices Panel.
The Management Committee wishes to stress that, in taking this action, it is not expressing a view on the substantive merit or otherwise of the complaint and did not reach a conclusion on whether or not Morgan Allen Moore has breached the Code of Conduct, which will be for the Panel to decide.
Under the APPC’s Complaints & Disciplinary Procedures, the Management Committee cannot itself investigate a complaint but is obliged to refer it to the Professional Practices Panel.
