Guiding principles for lobbyists
On 22 October 2007, the APPC joined with the CIPR Government Affairs Group (GAG) and Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) to launch a new set of guiding principles for all those who interact with the UK’s political institutions.
These guiding principles, founded on a bedrock of openness, honesty, integrity and propriety, are aimed at organisations and individuals outside the APPC, GAG and CIPR who engage with government – from charities, trade bodies, public sector bodies, NGOs and pressure groups to law firms, management consultancies, investment banks and corporations.
